— The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide in LGBTQ youth through crisis and intervention services, and I had the privilege to uphold this mission in San Francisco. As Ambassador Chair, I was responsible for leading a group of 15 volunteers, as well as, the designing, planning and executing of our year-round events in the community and with corporate partners. One of my favorite annual events was Trevor Runway, a fundraiser and irreverant evening to remind attendees that self-love is radical and nourishing.

Through my work over 3 years, we built partnerships with Twitter, Google, Safeway and Salesforce, amongst other supportive companies. I could not be more proud of the funds raised, but even more, about the presence and awareness established.

Continuing Involvement

Though I've moved and am back in Texas, I continue to support The Trevor Project in any way that I can. We're currently evaluating the establishment of a volunteer group in Austin to increase awareness and ensure all youth in central Texas have access to its life-saving services.

I've listed some of my favorite photos from past Trevor Runway events below. If you'd like to get involved with Trevor or just have questions, I'd be happy to help! Just send me a note.
